God’s Warmth - Vasti’s Prayer Update

Summer is gone. Fall is upon us.

I am confident in saying that I felt God's warmth this summer. I got to check off paragliding, horseback riding, getting seriously lost in the forest, and riding in a hot air balloon. My heart is full with adventure and memorable moments. As I look into this next season, I see hope through the ray of sunshine that my students are to me. I also feel God's peace that surpasses all understanding. I am expectant of God to continue to stir the heart of young people for His glory.

One of my favorite highlights this month was attending a drive-in service with a family that I deeply love. I have been attending Kalos Church since the start of 2020. I have found it to be a healthy and encouraging community for me. I am eager to bring along more students and families as we all learn more about Jesus.

I am excited to introduce you to our intern, Diego! He is an asset to our team and I am honored to be partnering with him to serve as he grows and sees God's goodness through Bellevue City Life. He will be working closely with our meal volunteers and having one-on-one appointments with our male students.

  • Join me in continued prayer for teachers, students, and families as they carry on with virtual learning. Pray that grace will be extended to one another.
  • Join me in praying for our student leadership team. Pray for boldness, humility, and confidence.
  • Join me in praying for Diego as he embarks in ministry with City Life. Pray for creativity, assertiveness, and passion.

If you would like to join our meal team, please send me an email. We would love to have you serve with us!

Again, Thank you for your gentle responses to every prayer letter. It is of great encouragement to me.
