Bellevue City Life - November 2019 Ministry Update

I am grateful for my students! Their curiosity, questions and thirst for Jesus is stronger. They are asking the deeper heart questions more and more!

Daniel moved from Spain last year with his mother and 3 siblings. I met them at a local thrift store and invited him to City Life. He was timid and had his guard up last year. This year, he is shining with confidence, enthusiasm and desire to learn more about Jesus! He loves coming to City Life because of the relationship Pastor Nathan has cultivated with him through video games!

America radiates joy, maturity, and leadership for the younger and older students at City Life. She is always asking “How can I help?” and “How can I be better for my community?” She is starting to cultivate a relationship with our intern, Liz, through experiencing life outside of City Life.

  • Pray that our students become open to inviting new friends to join City Life. They are all super close to each other and are a little guarded with new friends coming.
  • Pray that the Lord will ease anxiety as holiday season approaches.

One of our biggest needs since the beginning has been the lack of meal team support. Our students get out of school and head straight to City Life feeling pretty hungry. Most of them don’t go home after City Life due to extra-curricular activities. This means that most of them don't get home until around 8:00pm.

Would you or anyone in your circle be interested in providing a meal once a month?
