Congratulations to all of the 2020 graduates!  We celebrate their accomplishment, growth, and determination to finish the school year strong.

On June 9th, our student leaders Angeles, Rony, and Nancy showed up to their homes to honor them with a gift.

Ashley graduated from middle school and will be moving into high school.  She is eager to play on the girls’ varsity basketball team.  I have known Ashley since she was in 4th grade and I can say she is very respectful and studious!  She is lovely!

Dejah graduated from elementary school and will be moving up to middle school.  She is excited about meeting her new teachers and making a lot more friends.  I have known Dejah since kindergarten and I can say she is a ray of light.  She says "hello" to everyone she sees and stands up for others.  She is darling!

It is a true pleasure to journey with them as they learn more about themselves and who God has created them to be!  They are strong Latinas who represent their culture, family, and community beautifully!

One June 19th, we finished the school year strong at City Life.  We are more than neighbors, WE ARE FAMILIA.  We stayed committed to creating a safe space for vulnerability, questions, emotions, and celebrations!

  • Pray for me as my mental health during this season has suffered.  Thankful for counseling.  Thankful for YOU - your friendship is dear to me!
  • Pray for our team as we seek a new intern and new student leaders.
  • Pray for God's provision for Seattle Youth for Christ as a whole.

Can we say, hello summer!  If you are looking for ways to stay connected through out the summer, please email me: [email protected].  We are looking for creative ways to connect with you!
